My team and I are in charge of ensuring that the control policy of Millicom (Tigo) is fully respected in the different operations. Millicom is a Telecom company providing prepaid/postpaid telecom services, but also data and internet in 13 countries located in latin America and Africa. Our scope of work covers financial data (accounting principles) but also other matters such as legal requirements (local laws, government relationship), fraud prevention and detection... All the latter aim to reduce the risks over our assets (protection of our technology and human capital), ensure the accounting reliability (true and fair view of figures reported to the Headquarter) and improve the overall business.
I work in teams of 4 to 5 international members, on missions of 2 to 3 weeks which ends up travelling 50% of the year. Whether I am on the field or at the Headquarter preparing missions, I keep a constant contact with our operations, in order to maintain a mutual confidence with our local contacts over there.

After 2 years working for the E&Y, I obtained the position of experienced Senior, and had the chance to coach teams of 1 to 5 international people, and to audit a diversified portfolio of Companies (from SME to listed companies).
Through these almost-4 years at E&Y, I appreciated setting up a solid relationship with clients, always focusing on delivering a qualitative service, in line with the E&Y principle. Most of my missions were in Luxembourg, but I also had the opportunity to audit Companies in France and Belgium. Despite the difficulty of the position (tight deadlines, changing accounting principles), this enriching experience brought me flexibility, management skills but also organizational and technical skills.
